2. By Train: Shimla is connected by a narrow-gauge railway line known as the Kalka-Shimla Railway. The journey starts from Kalka, which is around 90 kilometers from Chandigarh. You can take a train from Delhi to Kalka, and from there, you can board the narrow-gauge toy train to Shimla. The toy train journey is known for its scenic beauty but can be time-consuming.
